Can anyone help me on resident evil:code veronica x please?

Im stuck on the second level, I have reached the palace and then that boy goes into that room with the golden guns where gas comes out, i have saved him and i don't know what i have got to do there. Can anyone help me please and as much detail possible, thanks for your answers.
