Places you would recommend to go on a vacation?

Galway, Ireland. It's on the west coast, easily accessible from Shannon airport (and a train ride from Dublin if that's cheaper). Fun university town, filled with street musicians, arts festivals, music, Irish speaking pubs. Just off the coast - the Aran Islands, where Irish is still spoken, lots of fun for hiking. Also close to Connemara, mountain hiking - gorgeous, gorgeous. Go, stay at youth hostels, travel by bus, soak it all in.
