What are my chances of getting into the Marines?

I really messed up. Last June i was signed up and I had my bootcamp date but my little brother had a nervous break down or something he was very depressed and wouldnt speak and started seeing a shrink I got scared and didnt know if i should leave or not so i talked to my dad about it and he talked me out of leaving. I never went to boot but i was in the DEP. The recruiter told me i could never join again but at that point i was more concerned about my little brother but after a few months he started speaking again and its almost been a year and i regret it everyday. Do i have a chance of getting back in?
