In the Air Force DEP?

Well, i wouldn't count on fire protection. I don't know to much about the other jobs. I am currently in the DEP as well. i went to meps 2 months ago, and i have already booked a job. i leave june 16th. BUT, i am doing what is called "a hard to fill job" (pararescue) so thats probably why i was able to book so quickly. Plan on being in the DEP for at least 3 months. but probably more. The person above me was correct some what. your recruiter does get a list of jobs he needs to fill, this is called a "job drop" BUT it come at the middle of the month and again towards the end. not at the beginning. DO NOT go in as open general. Good luck.
