American Magazine Subscription for a Christmas Present?

I would like to give a magazine subscription for a Christmas present for my sister and her family. They love animals, the outdoors, crafts and arts, games and movies. (Two boys, age 11 & 4) I think they had a subscription for National Geographic once, but there might be something else good out there. I'm from Europe so I have no idea which magazines are available in the US. Can anyone suggest anything good??
