DNS Server not responding?

My uncles having a problem with his laptop. Its an Advent Milano Elite or something like that. Its a mini one. He has a Vodafone Dongle which had a limit of 50gb but yesturday it would'nt connect because the limit was exceeded, i changed the settings to 60 gb but its still telling him the same.Neither of us understand what it means. Today he tried it again, and it tried to connect to google, it says its been connected to the vodafone dongle but the DNS Server isn't responding. Is there anything I can do?
