Judaism and burnt offerings question?

Burnt offerings were done in the Temple in Jerusalem. When the 2nd Temple was destroyed that was the end of the burnt offerings. The rabbis decided that prayer was an appropriate substitute. When the *real* messiah rebuilds the Temple, it is umed burnt offerings will continue. It's more important to Orthodox than Reform.
