What would be the best file sharing program for downloading music and other programs?

ive tried frost and limewire but they seem to be full with way to many virus's........ are there any programs like limewire that will give me more safety when wanting to download music. I here Ares is pretty good but havent tried it out...... thoughts on the topic???????
